Using explorer++ 64bit in Win7 64bit.
Is there a way to enable copy/pasting of file and folder such that it replaces (or prompts with replacement options) the file/folder in the destination location?
Right now if I copy/paste a file from one location into a new location which already contains an identically named file/folder the result is that explorer++ simply makes a copy of the copy/paste data and appends the "- Copy" suffix.
I want it to actually replace/overwrite the file. What am I missing?
File copy and replace
Re: File copy and replace
You missed nothing.
It's designed that way. There are couple of threads already which describe this issue.
Let's hope, the next version controls this feature by an enable/disable flag.

Re: File copy and replace
This was an oversight on my part when I integrated the copy/paste code with the drag and drop code. It was fixed in the development version some time back. The fix will appear in the next release.

Awesome! Thanks for giving us some hope, and the program itself in the first place. I use it all the time in Win7, its great.
