Thanks David! That's a lot to look at and I will need to hold off for a month or so before I dig into it!

Crashing with "create new tab"
It may not be fair to ask for help on this here… I have modified 1.3.5 extensively for use by those who are unable to use a keyboard or mouse. One user is reporting a 100% repeatable crash anytime he tries to create a new tab; his report is: "The app crashed using Actions/NewTab (from the menu ...

Re: Memory leak in 1.4.0.1637
Hi David! I have a highly customized version of 1.3.5 which I have designed especially for folks who cannot use a keyboard nor mouse. It is free and open source and I have discussed it here on the form previously. Could you give me a clue as to what you did to resolve this memory leak - at least poi...

Re: See more than one tab
I don't think there is a way to open multiple tabs in a single instance of Explorer++. My solution is to open a second instance of Explorer++.

Re: How do I make a specific folder display a certain layout?
At least in version 1.3.5, there is code which seems to be a start on this (but it is unfinished and does not seem to be working). I created my own version of this - I use the registry to store information related to each folder which Explorer++ has opened then, upon opening the folder it examines t...

Re: Am I the only one here still using VS2015?
Do I freeze the commit of explorer++ I use? There are number of open source projects which I rely on and have modified considerably. My solution is to freeze the commit of the open source project then keep very close track of bug fixes (and occasionally enhancements) keeping my local version bug-fi...

Re: Font size
The link above for the executable file that has a larger font version of Explorer++ isn't working. Sorry, a few days ago I removed the Dropbox files because I had made some minor bug fixes! If you wish to try my version make sure you read the warnings in the original post! Remember, this is a 32-bi...

Re: Close button for each tab...
The mouse double-click is not very discoverable but, once learned (since it may be deployed anywhere within the tab area) is arguably better than - at least as good as - clicking the specific location of the close button. Isn't there a big red close button at the extreme right end of the tab line wh...

Re: Folder doesn't exist location
Unless the user has disabled it, there is a status bar for this kind of information. Have you looked to see if you're getting a helpful message about the folder not existing in the status bar? Personally, I generally also dislike pop-ups; in this instance though I would lean toward using a pop up as...

Re: Font size
In response to a posting on another forum… After "cleaning" the solution to remove some of the unnecessary files, I zipped up the entire Solution's folder and placed it on Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iopx2irn2yi3slb/explorer%2B%2Befm5_17July2019.zip?dl=0 My version has a commandline...
