Re: Alternatives to E++?
I tried a few others and these were the ones that I liked best. XYplorer: https://www.xyplorer.com/ It's commercial software, but there is a time-limited demo as well as a feature-limited free version. Only available as a 32-bit application, which can cause some hassles dealing with 64-bit shell ext...

Re: new version of Explorer++ from recent sources [upd 29/03
Thank you for your work on this. Unfortunately, as others have said in the discussion, bookmarks are completely non-functional. Another unfortunate side effect is that if you run this build, then any existing bookmarks from the official build seem to get deleted. :( Personally I use bookmarks all th...

Re: New version coming!!!
I think the most common issue is that 64-bit shell extensions do not work in 32-bit builds, so some context menu items may be missing.favotext wrote: 2. Is there any issue to run the x32 version on your x64 OS?

Re: New version coming!!!
Thank you!! The bookmark fixes are greatly appreciated. I like your changes except for removal of the close button from the tab bar, and removal of the option to "Always show the tab bar". Personally I liked those options. Is your build based on the 1.3.5 source, or the latest code in gith...

Re: Bookmarks Disappear when Using 120 DPI Font
I switched my system font size to 120 DPI due to a large screen. After restarting the system (to activate the larger font) bookmarks did not show up in the bookmarks toolbar. "Show on bookmarks toolbar" is checked for all items. The other toolbars appear to work fine. Windows Vista SP2 64...

Re: Auto-refresh does not work
- If working in a "special" folder like My Documents, then there is a problem with refreshing the tree view in the left pane when a folder is added or renamed. The tree view does get updated when a folder is deleted. When the tree view doesn't update automatically, the only way to force i...

Re: Auto-refresh does not work
I'm currently using E++ v1.3.4.485 64-bit on Win 7. I haven't noticed any problems with auto-refresh except in the following 2 cases: - If working in a "special" folder like My Documents, then there is a problem with refreshing the tree view in the left pane when a folder is added or renam...

Re: Deletion refresh issue?
Strange, I can no longer reproduce any refresh problems under c:\ either. I have rebooted my machine several times since my last post, so maybe it was just a transient problem that was cleared up by a reboot. I had not seen that problem in previous versions. I'll keep an eye out for it, but for now ...

Re: Deletion refresh issue?
There is a general problem with refresh of the tree view when folders are created or deleted. This is happening in any folder, not just special folders and libraries. Folder deletion example: 1) Select C drive in left tree view, expand it so you can see the subfolders 2) Select a folder in the left ...
