Re: E++ no longer expands to shell folders in nav pane. (W11)

I'm working on another unrelated change now and it looks like part of that change is actually fixing this issue. That is, when I create a bookmark to the downloads folder and click it, the filesystem folder is selected in the treeview. Ultimately, this still appears to be a bug in the shell functio...

Auto-Update, and for dev builds...

I use E++ A LOT. And for well over a decade. And have been enjoying the steady progress seen in the Dev builds. Only very, very occasionally is there any bug that needs a downgrade. So every few days, weeks, i pay the AppVeyor page, or the builds page, a visit to see if there's a new build. https://...

David Erceg wrote: Sun Apr 09, 2023 9:17 am Yes, it looks like this is something Microsoft have changed. I might look into adding some additional options to control whats shown in the treeview in the future.
Did you get a chance to look into these options, possibly?

I have so many system folders in my nav pane! :(

Re: E++ no longer expands to shell folders in nav pane. (W11)

Hi David,

Has there been any progress wrt these changes that MS made? Knowing how it works now?

It's a constant pain for me, every day, with no way of it expanding to the folders, as it should.

Cheers.

Re: Shell Bags (folder settings) just for This PC, Recycle Bin

Please, please, please.

Even just for the Recycle Bin.

Can it just remember what it's columns and sort order are set to, completely separately from every other folder.

Every time i go there it's always sorted wrong.

Please.

Get the full list of columns to select from...

Explorer++ only has a subset (or an old) list of possible columns to add to Details view. In File Explorer, the standard list is quite huge. But i specifically want to display the codec used for video files, which isn't possible normally, so i use Icaros Shell Extensions (https://github.com/Xanashi/...

Re: Shell Bags (folder settings) just for This PC, Recycle Bin

Would it be possible to maintain the sort order somehow? Could E++ maintain its own 'bags' for a few of these special folders? I just want to go to the Recycle Bin and to have it always sorted by 'Date Deleted', with the most recent on top... irrespective of what i'm doing, sorting by in any other f...
