Explorer++

What I fail to understand is limitations on preview capability. It previews images and video files then why can't it preview simple text and pdf files? My thought is a little different. If the dµmb MS furnished Explorer can display contents of pdf and text files in proper format then why can't Explorer++ ? It does displays video and image files perfectly. Just create an addon or a registry key. What I have found to be extremely useful is Everything...

I don't know what happened but while trying to or looking to find a way to set columns to fixed width suddenly I saw full range of options visible in dfault options. Simply made my day. Now to somehow get the preview to work like the MS Explorer.

This is what I wonder about. How come the default screen shown in help is different from the application ? I have also managed to set it as default replacing MS furnished PITA Explorer that keeps crashing and hanging. I am so used to working with details for 20+ years I simply can't stand any other ...

Thank you very much. Even after 25 years of experience MS's version of explorer sucks so bad it keeps crashing and hanging all the time.
