Re: Any new version soon ?

Oh! That is excellent news. I checked this forum periodically, and also checked svn periodically, and seeing no changes, I assumed you'd gotten bored of this project and had stopped work on it completely. I didn't realize you'd just moved away from svn. :) I've been using XYPlorer for the past while...

Re: Built-in CONTENT search

FileLocator doesn't index anything, and it's crazy fast, even for content search. I actually purchased a copy (though there's a free version that did most of what I wanted it for) to support the guy. I actually then went so far as to install it on my home computer, which at the time was still runnin...

Re: Auto-refresh does not work

To all other readers of this thread -- open your wallet, there is no such thing as a free lunch. It is too easy to rubbish the developer (I did !) but David owes us NOTHING. If we donate ($20 min) it makes developing/improving Explorer++ more financially viable for the developer. I know I cannot wo...

Re: Auto-refresh does not work

Keep in mind that Explorer++ is completely free. The site doesn't contain any ads, and while I do receive donations, I'm yet to break even on hosting/domain costs. I'd be happy to work on it more, but the majority of my time has to go towards activities that will earn me a steady income. To be fair...

Re: "Open containing folder" in Visual Studio

Yep, looks like it's using DDE, which I don't know anything about, but that is what it is. (I asked around the xyplorer forum, as it has the same issue, and got the response back that it doesn't support DDE messages.) Also got back the workaround - that I should just create a macro to have VS launch...

Re: 1.0 release

Is it still being developed? I keep checking the forums daily just in case I get a nice surprise, but it sure doesn't seem like it. There was a time when David would come by answering questions several times a week, which he hasn't for many months. And there haven't been any real behavioral changes...

Re: Crash after Ctrl+W

On one hand, no, I can't reproduce it myself, also on x64 Win7.

On the other hand, even if I could, you may notice that David hasn't really been very active recently...

Re: Batch Rename

Yeah... indeed. I've been checking these forums and the svn logs pretty frequently in the hopes that I'd be proven wrong, but it does indeed appear that e++ is not being actively developed anymore. I did try CubicExplorer just now, and... I've got at least as many complaints about it as I did about ...

"Open containing folder" in Visual Studio

I know you don't seem to be around much anymore, but I figure I'd drop this request off anyway, in case you come back :p. Now that I'm being forced to use Win7 at work as well as home, I've been using e++ both places as well. Given that work = coding, this means I've been using e++ in an environment...

Re: Auto-refresh does not work

Heh. I never use libraries, but I have heard, I believe, that e++ has some problems with them, that are hard to fix. So it wouldn't surprise me. That said, this thread also reminds me that I was going to complain about an instance of auto-refresh not working that I run into far more frequently: the ...
