Re: expl.++ prevent the usb disk unmount
+1 for fixing this on windows 7 PCs. I have to use Lock Hunter to unlock explorer++ hold on usb drive to eject flash sticks. On other PCs where I can't install that I have to quit all explorer++ instances. Sometimes I just pull the stick out without unmounting. XP has a similar problem (and you can ...

Re: No scrolling at all
I had some other mouse scroll problems with VS2010. Downloading new drivers for my "Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500" fixed all scrolling problems I had. Now Exploer++ 1.2 works fine without KatMouse (even scrolling between tabs). So even if you have a microsoft mouse that came with no drivers...

Re: No scrolling at all
When I got a new mouse, I found a modified explorer++ 1.2 stopped scrolling. I downloaded explorer++ 1.3 and scrolling worked (so all those patches fix my issue). Unfortunately I still wanted my modded 1.2 version working, and I discovered a cool program called KatMouse. http://ehiti.de/katmouse/ If...

Re: Pane right click hangs and crashes [solved]
I've now solved this in a different way. It will no longer be a problem on any of the explorer++ releases. I deleted every folder context menu via the registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\OpenWithList HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\D...

Re: Pane right click hangs and crashes [solved]
I just downloaded the latest nightly 32bit exe and it still crashes on my XP computer (same with 1.3 beta). The bug that was introduced in Revision 145 is still present and makes Explorer++ unusable. Version 1.2 does not have the crash. The patch for Revision 163 that fixes this bug is in this threa...

Re: Renamed file still known under old name
Is this the same issue as http://www.explorerplusplus.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=679 ? If so I find it very annoying too. You can read David's good explanation to why it happens. I'll try your steps when I have access to excel, it would be great to have an easy way to reproduce the bug. I wa...

Re: Always crashes on right click (in empty area)
Which O/S are you using? I get that problem on XP 32bit.
I discussed it here:
http://www.explorerplusplus.com/phpBB3/ ... ?f=5&t=624
Try the demo exe out on the last post. If it works ok, then it might be the same problem I had.

Re: Annoying lag etc...
I get annoying lag when opening certain large directories on win7 32bit too. Its directories containing a large amount of small files and subdirectories (maybe >15gigs of tiny files). I think its just the shear number of small files + subdirectories that is causing it. I haven't been able to reprodu...

Re: more toolbar buttons
+1 for the "New File" button. I have already added a "New File" action menu item in the version of explorer++ I use (no toolbar button though). I made the shortcut ctrl-alt-N, and it creates a text file called "New Text Document.txt" ready for renaming (exactly like rig...

Re: Context menu current directory wrong
Here is a simple example (currently testing 1.2 on WinXP 32bit, but the same happens on Win7 32bit): Warning: Knowledge of how to backup/restore registry keys required (or at least to delete a key). Put this in "ListCurrentDirectory.reg" and double click it. Windows Registry Editor Version...
