Longer and better History drop down
I've been snowed in for a few days so… When you click the pop down next to the Back or Forward buttons on the Main toolbar (and you have visited sufficient folders), by default, Explorer++ creates a menu of the most recent 10 folders on the list. I find the value tend to be restrictive so I made it ...

Re: Enhanced Search Dialog
Janus, Sorry you had such a horrible experience! In re. fonts, I have made the entire application font sensitive; there are two places where you may set your choice of fonts (one is specific only to the Display Panel the other controls all the rest of the application's fonts). The menus' fonts are c...

Re: Enhanced Search Dialog
Would you mind if used your improvements I got multiple selection working (for things like the Context Menu's: Open & Delete - still not satisfied with the multi-selection Rename solution). I used Visual Studio to "clean" all solutions then I zipped up my custom Explorer++ folder in i...

Re: Enhanced Search Dialog
You are certainly welcome to my code! Let's see if we can figure out some way of getting it to you (it would be really nice to have a working GitHub repository for my version of Explorer++). I'm struggling trying to figure out how to create a GitHub repository, populate it then keep it current.

Drag-and-drop data file icon on handling application icon
In Windows Explorer, if I drag the icon for a .TXT file onto the icon for Notepad.EXE Notepad opens that text file. Explorer++ refuses such a drag-and-drop. I'm trying to get this working - any thoughts?

Enhanced Search Dialog
I really like the functional concept of a Search Dialog as Explorer++ uses versus the in-dialog search that Windows Explorers uses. Explorer++ has some shortcomings so I have been working on enhancing its Search Dialog. Here's a picture of what I've got working so far: SearchDialog.png Others have r...

Drag-and-drop - treat shortcut/link to folder as folder itself
I've seen a couple of other posts which allude to this problem: In Windows Explorer if I drag a file icon onto a shortcut-to-a-folder icon said file is copied/moved into the actual folder linked to by the shortcut. In Explorer++ if I perform the same drag operation the file fails to be moved/copied....

Failure to rename volumes
Assume I have a drive: D:\ and it has a label: Data Assume that I run Explorer++ from a CLI with the switch: -clear_settings so that all the settings are reset to factory default. I now run Explorer++ with no switches (either via CLI or by double-clicking on its icon). Explorer++ opens up into its d...
