Re: I sure mis the .. to go up one level
Speaking strictly for myself, I do miss those double dots. The doubleclick on open area to go up drives me buts, so I disabled it for me. I am still working through the code to bring back the .. like I prefer. If I am able to bring them back, is anyone interested in a self contained source snapshot ...

Remove icons from detail view
Is there a setting to remove or disable the tiny file icons that show in detail view?
I find them kind of annoying.
If not, then I can do it the old fashioned way.
Thx either way.

Re: Show "Extension" Column Setting - Set to Exclude Folders
Speaking for myself, I want to see the extension of a folder if it has one. Showing folder extensions is one of the first things I enabled when I started customizing. It used to filter out folder extensions automatically no matter what. I happen to use them, sort by extensions is something I use a l...

Alternate row color in details view
I am hoping someone knows how to enable or add alternate row colors in details view. It is the only view I normally use, but when you have hundreds of files in one directory, it can get hard to keep things straight. I am using a private fork tweaked how I like, and want to add one last tweak before ...

Re: Favorites/Bookmarks Please
I don't use the bookmark function myself, but I can try to help. What are the names of the two folders that are confused? Which is to say are they something like this. C:\Folder1 C:\Folder2 Or are they folders within the "My documents" tree somewhere? If they are, then you are facing a red...

Re: Enhanced Search Dialog
@Edgar5 Sounds like you are cleaning it up and stabilizing it. I would very much like a look. You might also want to look at RenPhoric. It provides a context menu that allows editing a whole directory listing as a text file either internally, or using an external editor. I use it with notepad++ when...

Re: Confirming features
@qofmiwok 1 & 2 I can't help you with. 3. I use a set of tools for this. If my pdfs are properly OCR'd or made from text, then I use http://www.ztree.com/ text search to narrow the field. Otherwise depending on the files, I use an older free foxit reader, or https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/free...

Re: E++ can't compute folder sizes
@crcpucmg I am not a W10 user, not shall I ever be, however I have had some of the same issues. I have a fork I made to fix folder size computation. It is made from the 180203 commit on github. Eventually I will figure out how to make a diff to quickly apply my preferred changes. It is over on https...
