Re: Themes for Explorer++
Please port it to Ubuntu too. Hah. That is extremely unlikely - have you looked at the code? It's quite strongly tied to win32. Not that I'd complain, mind - I've tried a lot of file managers for Linux, and they've all sucked even worse than Win7's explorer (and that's saying something). But I'd be...

Re: Remove "Go" button
Heh, funny, it never really bothered me in e++, in fact I never even noticed it was there. (Possibly because, unlike the one in native explorer, it isn't freaking giant.) Still, I have nothing particularly against it disappearing, either; it's not like I ever used it.

Good enough for me.

Re: Back/forward loses previous selection
*poke* Just bumping this thread in case you've forgotten about back/forward selection, as it's been a number of months, and its lack is slightly sad. I can obviously survive without it (especially since Up works, and most of the time that's where I'm going Back to anyway), but I thought I'd remind y...

Re: customizable file rename / frequently visited dirs
With the possible exception of original-file-name, I bet you could script your first request pretty easily with AutoHotKey ;). (Nothing wrong with the request, other than it seems pretty specific so I have no idea if anyone would be excited about doing it, I'm just saying you could probably add the ...

Re: TortoiseSVN not contained in context menu (but Git+CVS are)
Yeah, I'm also on win7 x64, and tortoiseSVN shows up fine on folders. Though I will mention that WinZip and WinRar both add context menu items to files, stuff like "zip", "zip here", etc... those don't show up in e++ (but do in native win explorer). The actions specific to their ...

Bad sorting after adding/removing id3 tag in Winamp
I fixed this hackily for myself cause it was bugging me, but I thought I'd mention in case you feel like really fixing it (or in case anyone else is annoyed by this and wants to know about my ugly hack :p): when I want to edit a single id3 tag on an mp3, I generally use winamp for it. If that happen...

Re: issue with replacing windows explorer with explorer++
I had a similar problem with the search replacement I picked up to replace explorer++'s too-simple search (or native Win7's buggy and painful one) with - its "open containing folder" command didn't open explorer++. I asked how they determined what should happen on that command, and the ans...

Re: Multiple file launching weirdness
By the way, I thought I had noticed this as well, but when I tried to check it - at work, on XP, using the default Windows music player - it worked fine. At home, though, I have Win7 and WinAmp as the default audio player, and just independently noticed this happening (and consistently). So, on one ...

Re: Bread crumb address bar
Hah. I, meanwhile, disable pretty much everything else on the GUI to keep it simple and clean, but couldn't live without an address bar, and not one that's a breadcrumb; I hate that thing. And that is why having options is rarely a bad thing (as long as they're either obvious or documented, so you k...
