There is a problem loading previous config (registry or xml) with this release of epp.
To fix: right-click on Toolbar, click on Customize... option at the bottom, click Reset button, then Close.

Thank you for your work on this.

Unfortunately, as others have said in the discussion, bookmarks are completely non-functional. Another unfortunate side effect is that if you run this build, then any existing bookmarks from the official build seem to get deleted. :( Personally I use bookmarks all the time, so it is an essential feature. I'm going back to the official build for now (and will have to recreate all my bookmarks). Please put a warning in the first post about the bookmarks getting deleted if you run this build.

Thanks

I'll put a warning message on the 1st post. Sorry you lost your old bookmarks. Big chunks of the Bookmarks code are missing from the source code on github.

Code: Select all

SaveBookmarksToRegistry: code is imcomplete.
LoadBookmarksFromRegistry: /* TODO: Load bookmarks. */

SaveBookmarksToXML: /* TODO: Save bookmarks. */
LoadBookmarksFromXML: /* TODO: Load bookmarks. */

Also, my copy, even the original version of E++, will not copy/create with SD cards in tablets. I still have to use Windows Explorer. Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks.

Does anyone else experience the left pane folders not expanding into the sub folder you are in on the right?

Version 1.3.2016.0207 fixes the right-click file pane crash. Thanks!

However, it seems that the bookmark feature does not appear to work at all.

I can add a bookmark to the bookmarks toolbar, but it is completely non-functional, and the bookmark disappears after restarting of Explorer++.

Please advise.

Thanks

Bill

I came here because of this error and I'm glad to see it is solved, but as I am only a user of E++ and not a developer how do I get this new version 1.3.2016.0207???

version 1.3.2016.0207 is no longer available - it is superseded by newer 1.3.2016.0329 - the download link is in the first post of this thread.

I've updated the 1st post in this thread, adding a download link for the source code. It builds using stlsoft-1.9.124-hdrs, pantheios-1.0.1-beta216, and Boost Version 1.60.0. It will also build using the latest Boost Version 1.61.0, released 2016-05-13.
