Column width settings

With the latest 1.3.5 version is there any way to set column widths that 'stick' or turn on Autosize permanently ?
I've been wanting this for years and years!
I'd love to be able to optionally set each column to auto size.
I'd love it if i could set just the size column to auto size... It's the column i have to tweak the most.
E.g. when organizing windows side-by-side, when the windows are narrower...
And heading to My PC, the size columns are never wide enough when you have number in the terabytes!
