(Background) I'm a longtime user of PowerDesk starting with Windows 95. I just upgraded to Windows 7 and decided to try Explorer++.
When I pin the app to the Win7 taskbar, the tooltip reads Explorer Application. I'd like it to read Explorer++. Is there a way to do this?
TIA, Art
Explorer++ under Windows 7
Re: Explorer++ under Windows 7
I've just purchased a Win 7 box, and just started using Explorer++ (hate the Win 7 one). If you edit the desktop shortcut to read Explorer++, then the tooltip should also read Explorer++, at least it does on my box.

I changed the name by right clicking the item in the start menu then selecting properties
select the general tab to change the name
