Soft / Fuzzy display

Explorer++ is perfect for my needs with everything exactly how I'd like it, except for one annoyance...
The whole interface display looks a little soft or fuzzy compared to other programs on my system. It looks almost like my system's DPI or other display settings are wrong. Its still perfectly useable, but just looks and feels like I'm on a 20 year old analogue monitor.
I'm not sure if this is just the way it is or not, but screenshots from the home page look much better.
Is this just the way it is? If not - any ideas on improving it?

Windows 10 64-bit with 2x 1080p monitors.
