Cannot rename files when admin privileges are required

Post by freezer75 »

Explorer++ version 1.3.5, if you select a file or folder under Program Files and rename it, you will get prompted saying you'll need admin privileges in order to rename. This is correct, it's working as designed.

However, in Explorer++ version 1.4.0.107, when you try and rename a file/folder under Program Files there is no prompt, instead it displays an error message "The specified file could not be renamed. Please ensure that it is not in use" and fails to rename. So this is a regression bug, it used to work ion 1.3.5 but now fails in 1.4.0. Tested on Windows 10.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.
