I am also on WInXP SP 3.

Shift + delete key works, but shift + delete button(on the toolbar) is what is failing for me.

Okay, I see what you mean. If I hold "shift" and click the "delete" button, it doesn't delete anything. It just moves the button two positions to the right. The same thing happens with any of the other buttons on the tool bar when holding "shift".

Holding shft + clicking items on the toolbar just rearranges them. Shift+delete is only a keyboard shortcut.

That is not how Windows Explorer works and the rearrangement makes no sense to me.

Dear David,

I come to Explorer++ is because of that the beauty of the traditional Windows Explorer is reserved in it. I love the simplicity, the usability and functionality of it. Thank you so much!

By the way, as a Windows Explorer replacement, the expectation is the user experience we got before would be same as far as possible. For the two shortcuts, I used extremely frequently and felt it very useful in daily work. These are:

After highlight(select) the text, then:

"Shift + Delete" : equal to "CTRL + X" (Cut)
"Shift + Insert ": equal to "CTRL + V" (Paste)

For the "Shift + Insert" key, it's working as expected. Howerver, for the "Shift + Delete" key, it seems missing.

I love Explorer++ and I hope it can 99.99% take over the messly new Windows Explorer.

Many thanks for your effort!
