Explorer++ Ignores Icon Overlays

Post by Lairbear »

David--

The Carbonite Cloud Backup platform uses icon overlays (colored balls) to denote the backup status of drives, directories, and files. The presence of these overlays provides the user with an indication as to whether the item is: awaiting backup (red ball), has been backed-up (green ball), or is NOT to be backed-up (no colored ball). The ball (as seen on Attachment 1: Windows File Explorer) is positioned at the lower left corner of an item's normal icon. Of note (as seen on Attachment 2- Explorer++) is that Explorer++'s presentation fails to present the 'Carbonite Balls'; Thus leaving the user with No indication as to an item's backup status. This is normally of great import to most/all Carbonite subscribers.

I am unaware of other backup compeditor's use of item icons in similar fashion.

Appreciative of your support...
