bitrate duration columns for audio/video

Post by mygost »

Hi,

i've smoothly added "bit rate" & "duration" columns to my favorite explorer++ viewer,

-i get my MP3 bit rate OK (even if 192000 bps would be more human-friendly as 192kbps)
-my MP3 duration is rather weird 211001200 or -1250120110 etc... guess a 3'24 would be human readable...

-avi/flv files are not (yet ?) decoded on "bit rate" & "duration" ??

anyway many thanks to you David for your excellent SW...
i've being using it for 2 days now, just love it !!
drop by on aperitif time whenever you want !

Both issues are fixed within the nightly build:
- The bit rate is shown in kbps if it's greater than 1,000
- The duration is shown in the format hh:mm:ss

The update to the duration column will likely be a part of 1.3.3.

Hi - I just wanted to highlight that the duration is working for MWV files but not AVI (prob mp4 or divx or h.264 inside the avi container). I am using version 1.3.5. Could this possibly be fixed or someone provide a work around? It works ok in explorer but you can't copy the various attributes like you can in explorer++

Many Thanks

ah! apologies - just spotted that it's WMA (audio files) so no video files at all. Can this feature be added?

Thanks

I am using Explorer++ version 1.3.5.531 and have the same issue: bitrate, duration, width and length columns for video files DO NOT display any information for any video file types (mp4, AVI, FLV, MOV, etc...) Has this issue been fixed and I just cannot see resolution in Forums? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am using:
Windows 10 (1709)
Both versions of Explorer++ (1.3.5.531) 64-Bit and 32-Bit.

Also reviewing MS Explorer file properties, the field names for video files are "Length" (00:04:14), "Frame Width" (1024), "Frame Height" (550), "Frame Rate" (30.00 frames/second or FPS), "Data Rate" (128kbps), and "Total Bitrate" (288kbps).
