Patch for zip files and treeview visualization.

Post by ajs »

Patch for zip files and treeview visualization.

If the option to "show zip files as folders in the treeview" is disabled, holding CTRL down when expanding a treeview node will let the zip files be shown for that node.
This allows a user who has the "show zip files as folders" option disabled to temporarily show the zip files of a node for its convenience (i.e. when he wants to navigate a zip file).

Patch is against commit 163 + patches 19, 20, 24, 28

That's a pitty; was a good idea as patched by AJS.

+1

I understand that some people want to see the zip files in the treeview, others (like me) don't, I'm actually looking for a simple, light-weight explorer that 1. does show the folder size and 2. doesn't show zip files in the treeview. An option to toggle the display of zip files in the treeview looks like a very good idea to me too and I don't understand where the problem with this would be.
