Is it possible to have just a single thumbnail preview displayed in the Windows 10 taskbar for each individual Explorer++ window?slope game
If this functionality is available, would the setting to enable it need to be configured within the Explorer++ application itself, or in the Windows operating system settings?
If this single thumbnail per window feature is not currently supported, it would be an interesting and potentially useful addition. The reason I use this software is to have one window assigned to each of my projects, with multiple tabs open within each project window. When navigating between projects using the Windows taskbar, I would like to be able to easily identify the specific project I need, and have each project window retain the last opened tab.
Currently, there are many mixed together thumbnails shown in the taskbar for all the open tabs across all the project windows, which can make it cumbersome to quickly find the desired project. Being able to consolidate the taskbar previews down to just one per Explorer++ window could greatly improve the workflow and organization when managing multiple concurrent projects.
Please let me know if this single thumbnail per window functionality is possible, and if so, where the setting to enable it would need to be configured.

Re: How to show a preview displayed in the Windows 10 taskbar
A single thumbnail preview for each instance of Explorer++ in the Win 10 taskbar is what I've been used to for such a long time with v1.3.5. This makes it easy to switch from something else (some other program) back to Explorer++ with the last viewed tab showing to remind me where I was in my workflow.
I recently tried v1.4.0 and I find having to select from multiple thumbnail previews for each Explorer++ tab is actually less helpful because it takes longer, and I often forget what tab I was working on last. I cannot find any option to change this behaviour. Shame, because I was really pleased to see this great software still being developed, but this little annoyance might cause me to revert to the older version.
EDIT: I think I figured it out!
Go to Tools -> Options -> Tabs then uncheck "Show taskbar thumbnails."
This is for v1.4.0 which is what caught me out, because in v1.3.5 that option was checked.
