Dark Theme
Dark Theme
Hi. I love the program and it would be the best program if we had a Dark Mode theme. TY.

Ok, I couldn't wait so I bought a license for XYExplorer, thank you anyway.
This would have been the best file Explorer with dark theme and free.

Re: Dark Theme
A more or less complete implementation of dark mode is contained within the dev version. I plan on releasing a beta version based on that soon and a stable version sometime after that. But it's likely that the current dev version will become the next stable version with few changes. So, if you want dark mode functionality, my advice would be to use the dev version.
The second problem is a bit more tricky. I've had multiple ideas for blog posts and have started writing some, but I tend to consistently choose working on the code over writing a blog post. But perhaps I'll write a blog post when releasing the next version, since there are features that aren't very discoverable.
Finally, if you want to check what work has been done recently, you can look at the commit history. While some of the commit messages are more technical, others are written at a high level and should give an idea of the sort of changes that are being made.
There have been quite a few changes made over the last few years. I think it's more that there has been a lack of releases and a lack of blog posts. For the first problem, the plan is to have more frequent releases, on something like a loose schedule. So, the dev version will become the stable version after some delay.Based on last modified date of the blog entries, the author is either dead or moved on.

This is a wonderful reply!
As an avid user of Explorer++ I am so happy to hear that the program is maintained and that new versions will be released.
Many thanks David.
