If loading the German langguage translation pack, most things work as expected. Many thanks for that:-)
However there is a bug (since E++ 1.4.x at least):
If right clicking into the right pane free area, to bring up the context menu,
and then pressing the N key for "New", it should open the "New" Submenu.
This works for the English language setting, and propably for other languages, too.
But if one uses the German language pack,
there is another menu item ("Gruppieren") in the context menu using the same access key (N).
I consider this being a bug since even the MS Windows explorer in German language localisation
opens the "Neu" submenu on the first press of the access key N.
The above prevents me from using the German translation pack.
The bug appears with E++ 1.5.0.2528 dev , but it seems that it's in previous 1.4.x versions, too.
Both portable and registry modes act the same in this respect.
I'm using W10p [Version 10.0.19045.5247], German language.
E++ access key bug in context menu in German language pack
Re: E++ access key bug in context menu in German language pack
I checked the dev folder today morning, and yes,
there is a new dev version (1.5.0.2540 dev) ,
from just a day after my bug report,
which seems to address the access key related bug or interference.
Unfortunately the lanuage setting is not saved in this dev build,
but defaults to
Also, the format of the config.xml seems to have changed, maybe accidentally?
