I'm a brand new user (using Windows 10 Pro). I've only ever used Windows Explorer - having trouble getting the lay of the land with Explorer++.
Do I have to have Explorer++ totally replace Windows Explorer (if so, how?); or can I choose which one to use for different Windows folders (if so how?).
One of the features I'd like, is to have the product "remember" the window size and location for specific folders.
For example: I have several Windows folders than contain shortcuts to multiple programs; I want to have Explorer++ always open each of those folders with the size and at the screen location I specify, and to display the contents of that same folder that I specify.
I have been unable to get that to happen.
I tried the method I've used with Windows Explorer, namely: in the desktop shortcut, I suffix the name of the program (Explorer++) with the name of the path to the folder I want opened. But Explorer++ doesn't open the specified folder, but rather shows the entire Windows folder structure.
Also, When I double-click the desktop shortcut to Explorer++, it opens minimized - even though the shortcut properties say to "Run:" in a "Normal window".
