Thanks!

Just wanted to say thanks.

Maybe it's just me, but Win Explorer on my rig is slow, delays reading directories, the UX is sluggish to paint when you bring it up, etc.

Oh yeah, I've tried all the fixes; unbloated and shut off all access to MS harvesting when I first got the machine, ran Blackbird, and took other steps to 'curate' what I allow, but Win Explorer was still a dog. Other than that, the rest of the system runs like a champ.

So I suspect that Win Explorer is using WebView for it's UX, don't know for sure, but it looks like a browser trying to start up with it's attendant white flash before the window paints, native code doesn't do that (my code doesn't do that, your code doesn't do that...).

As for the delayed and slow directory access, it's almost like it's parsing through everything and sending it to a malware check (or indexing it again) before putting it up.

But Explorer++ fixed all that, great design guys, my hat's off to all the devs. After trying all the Commanders, Salamanders and various other feature-bloated file managers, you're the only ones that did it right.

Thanks again.
